Klub Weimar is an independent creative consultancy founded by David Patrick Mitchell in late-2018 after serving five years as Artistic Director and Curator of the Center for Exploratory and Perceptual Arts (CEPA). During his tenure at CEPA he produced exhibitions by both emerging and historical artists whose practices challenged the conventions of their times. His curatorial efforts have included the work of Gregory Halpern, Tamy Ben-Tor & Miki Carmi, Eikoh Hosoe, Rachel Rampleman, Marion Faller, Hollis Frampton, Karsten Krejcarek, and Yael Bartana, among others.

Mitchell received his MFA from NYU’s Steinhardt School in 2007. As a practicing artist, he has been twice awarded NYSCA’s Individual Artist Grant, exhibition support from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, and publication support from The Elizabeth Firestone Graham Foundation.
